LEON is a Processeur 32 bit RISC Open source, compatible SPARC V8 (1987) developed by Swedish engineer Jiri GAISLER for ESA.
It is downloadable under license LGPL (version 2) and LPG (version3). A tolerant version with the errors (" Fault Tolerant" - implementing a detection of errors allowing its use in conditions of high radiations) is also accessible for LEON3.
The softcore Leon3 is a model of Processeur writes in language VHDL. Like its predecessor, Leon3 is based on an architecture RISC 32 Bit. The source code is entirely available under license LPG.
