Lay Francis
Biography
Francis Lai is a type-setter and French musician, born the April 26th 1932.
It especially composed the original soundtracks of films of Claude Lelouch. It obtains the Oscar of the best film music in 1970 for the screen of Love Story , and earlier receives a nomination in the same category four years for a man and a woman (1966). It composes of many musics for Edith Piaf, Mireille Mathieu, Isabelle Aubret, Philippe Léotard, Petula Clark, Nicole Croisille, Dalida and Jacqueline Dulac like for several Québécois singers of which Nicole Martin, Fabienne Thibeault, Ginette Reno and Martine Chevrier.
