Laxeiro
Jose Otero Abeledo , known under its name of artist Laxeiro , is a painter of Galicia (Spain) born in the parish of Donramiro of the commune of Lalín, the February 23rd 1908 and died in Vigo the July 21st 1996. Laxeiro is one of the painters of the generation of the revival of the Galician painting of the Twenties of the XX ème century ( Os Novos ) with Manuel Colmeiro, Carlos Maside, Luis Seoane, Arturo Souto, Amando Suarez Couto etc, generation which makes evolve/move Galician painting under the influences of the various avant-gardes of the XX ème century.
