Lawrence (Lawrie) Gibb Knight , born the September 24th 1949 with Auckland (New Zealand), is a former player of Rugby to XV which played with the team of New Zealand. It evolved/moved at the station of third line (1,91  m for 101  kg).

Career

It disputed its first test match with the team of New Zealand the June 18th 1977 against the British Lions, and its last test match against the team of France the November 19th 1977.

He played mainly like N°8, but he also occupied the station of third line wing and sometimes of second line.

Knight made studies of medicine to Paris, which gave the opportunity to him to play with Paris Université Club. He was then doctor in South Africa and before turning over to Auckland in 1990.
