The Loi of the federal grounds of 1872 (known also under its official title, Act concerning the grounds of the Power ) lays down the “rules” which will frame the colonization and the development of the Western Canadian. The Law applies to the whole of the territory that the Canada acquired Compagnie of Hudson Bay in 1870 (Ground of Rupert). During its 58 years of existence, the Law was amended every year.
