Law of land orientation

Adopted on December 30th, 1967, the law n° 67-1253 known as " of orientation foncière" (WINDWARD SIDE) established in France principal the documents of town planning which were used for local installation: plan of occupation of the grounds (POS), Master development plan and town planning (SDAU), replaced later on by the Information system strategic plan), local tax of equipment, Percentage occupied time of the grounds (COS) and Reach development concerted (ZAC).

Codified in the Code of town planning like all the great laws relating to this field, and often amended, its provisions were deeply transformed by the " relative law with solidarity and the renewal urbains" (law SRU) of December 13rd, 2000, which founds in particular the local plans of town planning (RAINED) and the diagrams of territorial coherence (SCOT) instead of the POS and of the information system strategic plans.
