Lavilletertre is a common French, located in the department of the Oise and the area Picardy.

Geography

Lavilletertre is a commune of the French Vexin crossed by the Viosne and located at 9 km of Marines, at 10 km of Chaumont-in-Vexin and at 13 km of Magny-in-Vexin.
The commune is served by the Gare of Lavilletertre on the line Paris-Saint-Lazare - Gisors-Junction ().
Lavilletertre is crossed by the Sentier of great excursion GR. 11.

History

  • Lavilletertre was Chef-lieu canton during the Révolution (of 1790 to the 8 Pluviôse An IX (January 28th 1801)).

  • 1823 : Saint-Cyr-on-Tanks is joined together in Lavilletertre.
