Laurent Perpère

Laurent Perpère , born in 1951, was a managing director of finances of Canal+ of 1995 with 1998 before being named president-delegate of the Paris Saint-Germain. He worked for the group Hachette before his arrival with Canal +. Laurent Perpère is normalien, aggregate of letters and énarque.

He was named president of the club of Football of the Paris Saint-Germain the December 22nd 1998 following the resignation of Charles Biétry. Its mission prinicipale with the PSG was to reabsorb the debt of the club. It was a bitter failure with a swelling of this debt. Moreover, the results recorded under its presidency were very disappointing: winner of the Cut Intertoto 2001, vice-champion of France D1 2000, finalist of the Cut of the League 2000 and finalist of the Coupe de France 2003, it is replaced the June 5th 2003 by Francis Graille.
