Laurent Minguet

Belgian business man born with Liege on July 20th 1959, wire of Philippe Minguet, married, two children.

After studies of Latin-mathematics to the royal Athenaeum of Liege 1, then from Engineer during which he teaches the Physique as raise-assistant, he obtains to a diploma for the occupation of civil engineer physicist to the Université of Liege in 1982.

In 1994, it repurchases the company EVS Broadcast Equipment with Pierre Hoest to develop numerical video recorders with hard drive intended to supplant the video tape recorders with magnetic band whom the television channels use.

In 2004, Laurent Minguet develops, within group EVS, the subsidiary company XDC whose objective is to digitize the cinemas in Europe and to provide copies and services to the numerical film distributers.

It receives the title of Managing Year decreed by the drafting and the readers of the hebdomaire Trends-Tendencies .

In parallel, it creates with various partners several active companies or associations in sustainable development:

Horizon Pleiads: property development specialized in the bioclimatic buildings (thermo-effective).
ATS: installation of thermal solar panels and driers industrial.
Green-Invest: third investment in heating and electric production with biomass.
CORETEC Engineering: research department specialized in the cogeneration, the heating networks, the boilers with biomass.
BES: plantations of wood energy in Casamance (Senegal).
NowFuture.org: electronic letter on sustainable development.

Laurent Minguet is also founder of several companies like Invest Minguet Gestion (IMG), ridge purlin of his activities or E-Capital, funds of investment for the contractors.

He is also president of the steering committee of Agoria Wallonia, the federation of the technological companies, where he animates the cell Sustainable development.
