Laurent Broomhead

Laurent Broomhead (born the February 5th 1954 with Paris) is a French organizer of television.

Its first televised appearance took place in the play figures and letters where it took part as a candidate. It was then student in preparatory classes of mathematics. It will follow then studies of engineer to ENSEEIHT.

In the middle of the Years 1970, it animated sequences of scientific popularization bound for the children and teenagers in the emissions youth (presented by Patrice Laffont) of the French television channel Antenne 2.

It popularizes, during this same period, the presentation of the weather in front of a blue bottom, thus opening the way with the incrustation of image ( Chromakey ).

To the beginning of the year 1980, this same chain propels it to the head of its emissions of scientific popularization general public to 20:45 and, very often realized on line by Jean-Pierre Spiero. One of the two series of emissions which were entrusted to him at that time called Objectif Tomorrow and the second was called Blue planet . In these same years, to the radio, on France Inter, it presented a daily emission of play (about midday) which was called the raccoon .

It is also known to have been one of the “Masters of the words” in the television game Pyramide : it formed a couple with a candidate vis-a-vis for a second couple.

From 2000 to 2006, it animated the scientific emission To know more health about France 2.

It is also impassioned by the horses and has a stable pulled by Tony Clout with Chantilly.
