Laure of Raudière

Municipal adviser of Saint-Denis-of-Well, in Eure-et-Loir, it was elected appointed 3 {{E}} district of Eure-et-Loir in June 2007 by beating the outgoing candidate François Huwart, mayor (PRG) of Nogent-le-Rotrou with 53,32% of the voices. She was elected under the label of the UMP.
Its election was disputed in front of the Constitutional council, judge of the legislative elections in France, by 3 applicants whose main thing is not other than François Huwart, outgoing candidate beaten with the second turn. It challenged the validity of the election to the reason that Laure of Raudière had affixed its Photographie on ballot papers of the first turn. François Huwart launched a campaign of leaflets and of important press to discredit the Laure candidate of Raudière by claiming that are election would be invalidated. Arrived at the Constitutional council, in this business for which there did not exist precedent, the Council considered that the presence of photography on a ballot paper “does not ignore any legislative measure or lawful, cannot be looked at, in the circumstances of the species, like constitutive of an operation having had for effect to attack the sincerity of the poll” . The election of Laure of Raudière was definitively validated the July 12th 2007.
