Laura Branigan
Laura Branigan was an American singer born the July 3rd 1957 with Brewster, New York, and deceased the August 26th 2004 with East Quogue, New York of a aneurysmal rupture.
Laura Branigan off follows the courses of the Academy Dramatic Arts to New York and finances its studies while working as waitress. In the Years 1970, it becomes the singer of the Meadow group. She is chorus-singer for Leonard Cohen before being committed in 1979 by Ahmet Ertegun for the label Atlantic Records. She leaves its first album, Branigan , in 1982. On this album Gloria is reproduced, song which will be a tube in Italy - it should be said that this title is a resumption of the Italian singer Umberto Tozzi - before becoming an international success the following year when it is taken again on the original soundtrack of film of Adrian Lyne Flashdance .
