The name of Laulne originates in the Latin words " alna" or " alnus" , which recalls the presence on this site of Aune S, trees which push in very wet zones. One finds this Toponyme in the Calvados with a suffix of " presence; aunay" , and in Seine-Maritime " Malaunay ".
