The title Pentateuque , which comes from the Greek Pentateuchos (literally composed of five volumes) indicates the first five books of the Bible, also called books of Moïse, and which constitute in the Jewish religion the Torah (the law).
These five books tell the history of the people of Israel, since the creation of the World until the death of Brace.
