Late Etienne of Pommeroux de Bordesoulle

Late Etienne of Pommeroux , count de Bordesoulle (Born with Luzeret (Indre) the April 4th 1771 - died with Fountain-the-Senlis (Oise) the October 3rd 1837).

Military career

It engages in 1789 like simple rider with the 2nd hunters with horse and carries out almost all the campaigns of the French revolution in the armies fighting on the the Rhine, since 1792 until year IX, with the armies of the Rhine, of the Rhine-and-Moselle, of Germany, of England, of Mainz, of Italy, and was characterized there by many brilliant deeds.

Light rider

Wounded on several occasions, Bordessoulle is named Sous-lieutenant in August 1794, then lieutenant in July 1796 and Capitaine in January 1798. It fights with plume with Novi, the August 15th 1799, it is wounded by covering the retirement of the army.

Cuirassiers
