Latacunga
Latacunga is a town of Ecuador, capital of the province of Cotopaxi.
The city is especially known to be the starting point many excursions. Latacunga has in particular the advantage of being the city nearest to the Lagune of Quilotoa. One also leaves there to visit the market of Saquisili, or of course to climb the Volcan Cotopaxi (5.897 Mr.). The volcano Quilotoa is located at about thirty kilometers in the west of the city.
