Lasted (type of vine)

The lasted is a Cépage French red.

Origin and distribution

It is originating in the Département of the Tarn. It is called Durazé in the Ariège. It is obligatory for the red wines of AOC Gaillac. It represents about a thousand of ha.

Characters ampelographic

The bunches are of intermediate size and the bays are small. The wines which of it result are enough fairly coloured alcooligenes but, scented (fruits black) and spiced (pepper). It is seldom marketed only. In Gaillac, it is assembled with Fer Servadou, Syrah, Merlot or Cabernet.
