Larrauri Oscar
Oscar Rubén Larrauri is an Argentinian racing driver born the August 19th 1954 with Granadero Baigorria.
Biography
It unloads in Europe in 1980, and two years later, he becomes champion of Europe of Formule 3. After one year in Formule 2 without success, it decides, following a proposal of Walter Brun to launch out in the Sport-Prototypes rather to continue in the single-seater, with the stable Brun Motorsport , which is world champion of the manufacturers of the sport scars (WSC) in 1986. In 1988, Walter Brun decides to create his stable of Formule 1 and a wheel proposes to him.It cash takes part at 21 Grand Prix for the championship of the world of Formule 1, in 2 years, all with the stable EuroBrun beginning the April 3rd 1988 with the Grand Prix from Brazil. It qualifies only 8 times, and does not mark points with the championship of the world of the pilots.
It turns over, after its career in the single-seater, to races of sport scars and endurance, always for Walter Brun. It takes part in 9 tests of the 24 Hours of Mans of 1983 with 1994. It does not meet more success than in the single-seater, if it is not its 2nd place with the 24 hours of Mans 1986 and decides to turn over in Argentine where it still makes some competitions in the sport scars and of tourism.
Then it puts a term at its career of pilot, launches out in the policy and becomes the assistant of the governor of Santa Fe, before managing the carrère Lionel Larrauri, its nephew.
