Paul Raymond note which the commune counted an old priory which depended on the abbey of Sauvelade.

  • Jean-Bernard d' Uhart is a soldier, owner, ironmaster and politician French (1765 with Uhart-Mix - 1834 with Sauguis). It dealt with the Forge of Larrau, whose production of iron became, as from 1793, essential to the Armée with the Western Pyrenees.
