Larousse is a French Publisher specializing in the reference books (of which the Dictionnaire S) founded by Pierre Larousse; the floret of this production remaining Petit Larousse).

Larousse also always had an linked activity centered on the language and the French language. Thus the house published reviews of popularization like Vie and language as well as of the specialized magazines like French language or Langages . It also published works of Linguistique, for example in the mythical collection Langue and language

Larousse is subsidiary of Hachette Livre since 2004.
