Larmor-Baden

Larmor-Baden is a common French, located in the department of the Morbihan and the area Brittany.

The name Breton of the commune is An Arvor-Baden .

Its inhabitants name the Larmoriens and Larmoriennes .

Geography

Larmor-Baden has several islands on its territory, of which the island of Berder ( Berder ), connected to the continent by a roadway submarine, and the island of Gavrinis ( Gavriniz ), site of one of largest the Tumulus megalithic of Brittany.

Its territory includes/understands also two other islands: Radenec and the Long Island.

History

Larmor-Baden is set up in commune in 1924. It formed before part of the commune of Baden and in the past of the parish of Plougoumelen.
