Large round net

The Gros round net ( GFR ) is an asymmetrical mechanical device of Raccord ement of Tuyau X, used mainly by the Sapeur-pompier in France.

It is characterized by its two threaded half-connections, one male and the other female.

It equips mainly small the pipes equipping some Fire hose (in particular the Lance with the reel turning or LDT and the lances with forest fires.

External bond

The connection GFR is in conformity with the French Norme NF E 29.579. It is used by the sappers firemen in only one dimension the DNN 20. The standard also covers the DNN 80 and 100 usually used in oil industries for the discharge of hydrocarbons.
