The Grande Romania ( România Pond ) indicates the territory of the Romania in the years between the First World War and the Second world war. This territory is the greatest extension of the plain country of the Rumanian as an ethnicity, on Rumanian historical countries. The convoie term today a connotation irredentist in Romania and is the same name as that of the national political party. The politically correct term is " România Întregită" , in French something like " Romania entière".
In 1918, at the end of the First World War, the Transylvania, and the Bessarabia were linked with the Vieux Kingdom, Transylvania is linked by a Proclamation of the Union of Alba Iulia voted by the representatives of the Roumanians of Transylvania; Bessarabia, which had declared its indépendence with respect to the Russia in 1917 by the Conférence on the Country (Sfatul Ţarii), invites the Rumanian troops to protect the province from the Bolchévique S which spread the Russian revolution.
The union of Transylvania, of the Maramureş, the Crişana and the Banat with the Old Kingdom was ratified by which recognized the sovereignty of Romania on these areas and installed the border between the Republic independent of Hungary and the Royaume of Romania.

Romania also acquired Bulgaria the territory of the south of the Dobroudja called the Cadrilater , like result of its victory in the Second war Balkan in 1913.
