Large Temuco

The Grand Temuco is a Agglomération located in the Région of Araucanie at Chile. The metropolitan concepte of Large Temuco is born when part of the commune of Temuco, Padre Las Put, divides administratively. Thus the fact comes that Temuco became an agglomeration.

Only two communes enters this agglomeration, according to the national census of 2002,260.878 inhabitants. According to the projection of INNATE in 2005 it will have 342.878 inhabitants: Temuco (276.759) and Padre Tired Put (66.697), which means that it should be the fifth agglomeration of the country after Large Santiago (34 communes), Grand Valparaíso (5 communes), Grand Concepción (7 communes) and Grand Serena (2 communes).
