Grand Forks is the third plus big city of the North Dakota, with 49.321 inhabitants. The city is in the North-East of the state, on the Red Rivière of North. Surface of the east city of 49,9 km ². The mayor of the city east Michael Brown.

History

Grand Forks was founded the June 15th 1870 and recognized like a city the February 22nd 1881.

In 1997, the red river left its bed and the city was struck by violent floods.
