Large Bill
Large Bill or Grosbill very attached, is a qualifier which appoints in the universe of the Roleplays a player who seeks to make his character most powerful possible, with the detriment of other aspects of the play such as realism or the interaction between the characters. It gave the substantive “ grosbillism ”, which indicates the fact “of playing the power rather” than “to play the part”.
The term is pejorative, because an attitude of Gros Bill in a traditional roleplay is close to the anti-play and trowel often the pleasure to the other players.
The review Casus Belli had given this definition of Large Bill: " brain of the canary and firepower of the nuclear aircraft carrier ".
History
In the Years 1980, a Parisian player of AD&D called Gros Bill was pointed out by its manner far from subtle to cheat with an only aim of acquiring a surpuissant character. Nobody remained easily deceived a long time, but that did not prevent it from continuing to annotate its card of character to improve his statistics.
François Marcela-Froideval which côtoya its table of play, decided with Didier Guiserix and Daniel Duverneuil to present this new manner of playing. This ironic article in the heading “Guesses which comes to dine this evening” appeared in 1981 in Casus Belli n° 4. It made pass to the posterity this new tendency of player by ridiculing it.
In 1985, Casus Belli publishes once again an article, because the phenomenon is accentuated. The term of Large Bill which until there made it possible to make fun nicely of the players, consequently becomes more pejorative. Indeed, this practice is clearly of the anti-play, and if it spreads, the parts of roleplay can only be uninteresting.

For some time, a terrible disease, against which we had tried to fight a long time ago in Casus Belli, tends to re-appear: the grosbillite which gallops . ~ Casus Belli n° 25
Some driving of play are also shown finger, because to create scenarios or keeps in which are with abundance of powerful magic objects serves the cause of the Gros Bill . In addition, it is to the leaders of play to take measures to prevent the cheating and the abuses. Because some Gros Bill go until reading the scenarios of the trade played by their leader of play, to know the site and the enumeration of the magic objects which compose it.
Today, tendency accentuated by the video games of role of which one of the principal goals is to acquire experiment and to discover magic artefacts, the Gros Bill appoints a very experienced player who excels in the research of the power. The term became synonymous with Power Gamer by losing the direction of cheating which it transported until now. It still conveys however the concept of excess, overpower, element potentially “unbalancing” for the universe in which it evolves/moves.
One can also to add that Grosbill in general knows very well (even by heart) the book of rule of the Master of play, which enables him to combine competences, in order to obtain largely higher capacities (Keeps and Dragons 3.5 is all selected for this style of grobillism).
