Childhood and adolescence

The father of Lara (Pierre) is Flemish and his mother (Luisa Fabiano, from where its name of scene " Fabian") sicilian is . The first name Lara comes from the female main character of the Doctor Jivago . The mixing is ensured by Yvan Léonard, scenario writer-speleologist, of a great artistic sensitivity, and friend of Marc Lerchs. Marc Lerchs becomes the appointed pianist of Lara, and they give song recitals between 1986 and 1988 in various cabarets of Brussels, of which Black Bottom and Coffee of the Small island. A few weeks before Eurovision 1988, RTL organizes in Luxembourg with the Louvigny Villa a press conference to present Lara to the journalists. Departure for Quebec

With only little money and two bags, the two in love ones settle with Montreal. Lara creates then its own label of music, Clandestine Productions. It is in August 1991 which the album Lara Fabian leaves to Canada. Return in Europe

International career
