Lapradelle-Puilaurens
Lapradelle-Puilaurens is a common French, located in the department of the Aude and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.
Its inhabitants is called Puilaurenois.
Geography
History
The Agglomération of Lapradelle exists only since the XIXe century and owes its development with the establishment of linked activities to the hydraulic force drawn from the Boulzane: spinning mill and Sawmill S.In 1904, a Railway is built of Quillan to Rivesaltes while passing to Lapradelle on a Viaduc spanning the course of the Boulzane. This line transported only travellers until in 1939. Today, only one Train is always in service for the routing of the Felspath between the Aude and the the Eastern Pyrenees.
In 1868, Lapradelle-Puilaurens lost the Hameau X of Salvezines and Caunil, set up in distinct commune under the name of Salvezines.
