Laparade
Laparade is a common French, located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne and the area Aquitaine.
Its inhabitants is called Laparadais.
Geography
Perched on a narrow plate with more than 190 m of altitude, the country house of Laparade offers a remarkable point of view on the valley of the Lot.
On the ramparts, since the table of orientation, panoramic sight to 180° of Tournon-in Agenais with the slopes of Buzet-on-Drops. In clear weather, the chain of the the Pyrenees, to 250 km from there, is detached with the horizon.
History
founded Country house in 1265 by Alphonse of Poitiers, brother of Louis de France, under the name of Castelseigneur .
The country house was founded on the Paroisse of the church stamps Our-Lady-of-Malt kiln , by contract of Paréage between the Abbaye of Clairac, owner of the grounds, and Alphonse of Poitiers.
In 1277, Castelseigneur becomes Laparade . One discussed much on the origin and the significance this name: it would seem to refer to the " Parade" English cities, the " place; from where most beautiful vue" is discovered;.
In 1344, Laparade is conceded with Guillaume-Raimond 1st, lord of Caumont.
Then, like the majority of its neighbors, the village was declared in favor of the English (in January 1351). Taken by storm with the profit of Henri VI of England by the armed bands with Rodrigue Larivadin in 1434, it was taken again in 1437 by Rodrigue de Villandrando, other Spanish Mercenaire, called " the écorcheur" , for the account of Charles VII.
With the the Middle Ages, the country house of Laparade enjoys a very complete political organization and invaluable privileges: no body constraints, not of arbitrary size, a municipal mode and royal safeguard. Moreover, she enjoyed the right of twelve large fairs per annum.
The jurisdiction of Laparade included/understood, in addition to the city and the suburb of Touraille , the parishes of Roubillon (common of Castelmoron on Lot), Saint-Jean-of-Peyrières the (on the slope), Sermet and Suberbos (or Subrebosq ) (common of Castelmoron on Lot).
In the south, on the current site of the old nursery school and the public walk, a strong Château rose, flanked at least both turns and of Donjon S. In north and the west, there was deep Douves, of which a part exists toujours.
The borough was surrounded by solid walls: the Ramparts, bored of three doors: one towards Monclar (opposite the current temple), others towards Clairac and the fossés.
Formerly, the trade was prosperous there and the population much more than today. The village was famous for its Vignoble S and its dried Figue S, like for its Tisserand S and its Chapelier S, in particular in the suburb of Touraille . One worked there also the Cuir.
Laparade had two churches and a hospital. The bell-tower of the current church (in the center of the village) is the only element to have remained of this époque.
The vicinity of Clairac, important Protestant hearth, supports the development of the Réforme at the 16th century. Laparade shelters many Huguenots. In 1573, the castle is set fire to by the troops Catholique S. the fortifications are raised at the beginning of the 17th century, then dismantled after 1621 on order of Louis XIII. In 1622, the ramparts are rasés.
In 1631, a epidemic of Peste occurs in the surroundings and is particularly fatal in the village.
Depopulation, important in the Jurisdiction since the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, is translated will intra muros at the end of the 18th century by the abandonment or the ruin of many houses. In fact, the agglomeration remained an agricultural village, fossilized in its medieval layout and rather depopulated.
During the Second world war:
July 12th 1944, six resistant, whose woman, were shot by German soldiers against a wall of the village. A ceremony of the memory takes place every year to honor their memory.
Administration
Raymond Galliné was youngest Maire of France in 1965. Mayor of Laparade during 36 years, the village hall of the village bears his name.

The Panorama of Laparade is one of most beautiful of France.
The construction of the current church probably began towards 1763. The Bell-tower and the arrow were restored in 1928 by the Architecte villeneuvois Gabriel Teysséré.
A walk in the streets of the village makes it possible to discover:

The village of Laparade shelters the oldest troop of Théâtre amateur of the department of Lot-et-Garonne: Altitude 182 , directed by Josette Has posed, proposed many spectacles of entertainment throughout the year for more than 30 years.
