Lanvallay

Lanvallay ( Breton Lanvalae in ) is a common French, located in the department of the Coast-with Armor and the area Brittany.

Its inhabitants names the " Cotissois".

Lanvallay is a major city between Dinan and Rennes. The city thus benefitted from its preferential situation to develop with the creation of economic zones.

From the tourist point of view the commune of Lanvallay offers the most beautiful sight on the town of Dinan and its ramparts. The ways of market dues also are very appreciated joggeurs and walkers.

History

The parish of Lanvallay belonged to the deanery of concerning Fraud évêché of Fraud and was under the term of Saint Méen.

  • 1807: the commune of Tressaint to him is attached
  • 1828: Tressaint to him is detached
  • January 1st 1973: the communes of Tressaint and Saint-Solen are attached to him to form Large Lanvallay
