Lanleff is a common French, located in the department of the Coast-with Armor and the area Brittany.

Lanleff was a Trève of Lanloup wedged in the évêché of Saint-Brieuc and belonged to the deanery of concerning Lanvollon évêché of Fraud and was under the term of Notre-Dame.

  • the Temple , is a curious monument, of a remarkable beauty, of the elegant forms, in pink sandstone, of primitive Romance style, built, thinks one of the 11th century.

It is presented at the origin in the shape of 2 concentric circular enclosures separated by a déambulatoire. Today, of the external enclosure comprising 2 more absidioles remains only part out of 3 preexistent. The interior enclosure consists of 12 arches supported by 12 imposing pillars. Those are decorated, on their capitals and their bases of enigmatic naive sculptures.

The origin of this monument remains a mystery for all the researchers who are interested there. The first document which refers there is a charter of donation gone back to 1148, then it is necessary to wait the 18th century to find mention in various authors again of it. After a study trip in Brittany, Prosper Mérimée is interested in the Temple and the fact of registering, according to certain authors, with the inventory of the historic buildings in 1840. But on the site of the Historic buildings () is indicated: classified by list of 1889.
