Language of Description of Languages

LDL is the acronym of Language of Description of Languages, it is also the Compilateur of compiler which uses it as language of description.

It is of a language and a framework of development (Framework) of compilers. LDL was used for its own definition (méta-circularity) what facilitated its development and its evolutions. A self-correcting device of error is integrated.

Used within the framework of the projects of supercomputers SIMD and MIMD developed in France in the years 1980, LDL allowed settling and the prototyping of various languages.

LDL was created by Gabriel KEPEKLIAN (1983-1986) - Curved/Thonsom.
