Langladure
Langladure is a French Rivière of the Creuse and the area the Limousin. Langladure is also called brook of Masgrangeas.
It takes its source with Royère-with-Vassivière (village of Masgrangeas) and is thrown in the Maulde with Saint-Martin-Castle, upstream of the Cascade of Jarrauds, amplifying the scale of this one appreciably. It has a 15 km length. On its course the mill of Langladure is installed, Water mill of the 18th century. A mill is announced on the Carte of Cassini of 1760 near the current mill. Then Langladure crosses the territory of the village of Langladure, old commune of Hollow the attached since the French revolution to the commune of Royère-of-Vassivière.
" planches" are a characteristic of the Regional natural park of Millevaches in the Limousin. These are bridges whose apron between two piles is made of large a " planche" of Granite cut. Sometimes there are two " planches" side by side. This local characteristic is due to the " granite of Compeix" as it on our premises is named. It is the granite with two micas (white and black). Its color is beige with pink. With fine and regular grain, it is output well out of stones of size. In all the houses, it is used to make the lintel X, the jambs, the supports and the stones of angle. It was also employed to make the bridges of boards. It is still cut in Compeix The boards are used for the pedestrians, being often too narrow for the carts, those used a close ford then. On Langladure, there exists the Perrine board. Many other bridges of " are found; planche" near Langladure on Maulde with Saint-Martin-Castle.
