Langelot and the skyscraper

Langelot and the skyscraper is the fifth novel of the series Langelot by the Lieutenant X. This novel was published for the first time in 1967 in the green Bibliothèque and carries number 318 of the collection. The following episode is Langelot against Mr T . The preceding episode is Langelot and the saboteurs .

The summary

In the Parisian offices of the Real and Land National company (alias National company of Functional Information), the Montferrand captain prepares the mission " Nébuleuse" with the Mousteyrac captain.

The mission " Nébuleuse" originates in the last words of a spy of the organization of Maurice Zauber, currently imprisoned in Canada: " Prosperity… catastrophe". Prosperity is the name of a skyscraper of Montreal, Canada. However a French company occupies one of the floors of this building. From where an investigation of Franco-Canadian mixed protection. However the Mousteyrac captain balks to join Canadian, and does not appreciate more the idea to work with an agent beginning 18 years: Langelot.

While arriving at Montreal, Mousteyrac orders in Langelot to remain with the hotel, then to find it the evening in a restaurant. But Langelot is only found to wait the restaurant. It then decides to contact the authorities Canadian, and thus finds their Canadian contact: Phil Laframboise.
