Landing Infantry Kraft

The LCI or Landing Craft Infantry is large a Péniche planned for the transport of troops built with 1 139 specimens between 1942 and 1945 with the the United States and the the United Kingdom.
It is about the one of the first categories of Bâtiment of unloading conceived right from the start for this function.
270 specimens are delivered to the Royal Navy of which 20 will be transformed into LCH of command.
The first units, of LCI-1 with LCI-350 form type 1 characterized by a footbridge low and rectangular. The following units of LCI-351 with LCI-1139 which are different from the first by a footbridge of higher circular navigation form type 2 (or type 351). They are divided themselves into 2 under-versions, certain units having received a double door and a small slope with the front one.
