Land borders enter Malawi and Tanzania
The land borders between Tanzania and Malawi is an international border which separates the Malawi from the Tanzania in East Africa. The major part of the border is marked by a named river Songwe. This river takes its source in the mountains located at the south-west of the Mont Rungwe and the town of Tukuyu. It is a rivièreau strong flow whose certain meanders can evolve/move during the years. The border thus knows small variations of layout. A construction project of a stopping to control the discharge of river is in hand.
The border continues then in the Lac Malawi, until its meeting with the Land borders between Mozambique and Tanzania and with the Land borders between Malawi and Mozambique in the middle of the lake.
