Lancre (Disc-world)

Lancre is an imaginary kingdom resulting from the novels of Annals of the Disc-world of Terry Pratchett.

Blotti on slopes of Mountains of Ram - so much blotti that the only square meter of flat ground is preserved at the museum -, Lancre is a small kingdom directed by king Vérence (until Three Sœurcières ) then by his cousin the duke Léonal Kasqueth and by Thomas-Jean, wire hidden of Vérence (in Three Sœurcières ) and since by Vérence II, ex-insane of king Vérence.

It is in Lancre that officiate the witches Mémé Ciredutemps, Nounou Ogg and Magrat Goussedail (which becomes queen of Lancre by marrying the king Vérence II in Nobliaux and witch ).

Mustrum Ridculle, archichancelier of the invisible University of Ankh-Morpork, is too originating in this area him.
