Lancetilla botanical garden

The botanical garden of Lancetilla , located at Tela (Honduras) was founded in 1925.

The garden shelters a multitude of fruit trees, the largest plantation of Mangoustanier S in America, Orchidée S, Palmier S, Bambou S, etc

The birds elected residence with the garden because of the presence of all this food. One counts 250 species of them: the Toucan with hull, the Trogon rosalba, the Motmot with blue eyebrows. A myriad of birds can be observed with leisure.

The botanical garden in the world can be discovered through an excursion from 3 to 4 a.m.
