Lamoureux orchestrates

The Orchestre Lamoureux (or Concerts Lamoureux ) is one of oldest the symphony orchestras French.

History

Founded in 1881 by the Violonist and Leader Charles Lamoureux, the orchestra played a very important part in the diffusion of the symphonic Musique French, while creating at the beginning of the 20th century of works of Debussy and Ravel in particular.

Association independent since death of its founder in 1897, the Lamoureux Orchestra passed through during the 20th century several financial crises, not profiting unfortunately from the colossal subsidies that the French State distributes for example to the national orchestras.

In spite of that, its leader principal, Sadomasochistic Yutaka, knew to give again to him since ten years a choice place in the musical landscape Paris IEN.
