Lambert Mende Omalanga

Lambert Mende Omalanga is a politician of the Democratic republic of Congo. It was appointed Ministre for Hydrocarbons in the Gouvernement Gizenga in February 2007.

Mr Mende is the National president of the Convention of the Plain Congoleses (CCU), originating in Lodja in the province of the Sankuru.

Before his nomination, Mr Mende had been elected National Député of the district of Lodja. He was the Rapporteur of the Senate during the transition, he has also several times be Ministre, in particular Vice Prime Minister, Ministre for Transport and Communications.
