Lakota (Ivory Coast)

Lakota is a town of Ivory Coast.

It is located in the area of the south-Bandama, in the west of the country. In vernacular Language, lakota comes from the word Dida “ Lô KB da” which means “ it y' has elephants here” . Its population is approximately 40.000 inhabitants.

Administration

A law of 1978 instituted 27 communes of full exercise on the territory of the country.
