Lake of Villefranche-of-Panat
The lake of Villefranche-of-Panat is a storage reservoir which is in Aveyron. Part of the water supply of this lake comes from the Lac from Pareloup.
Geography
The lake of Villefranche-of-Panat fact parity of the whole of the lakes of the Lévézou, in the center of the Department of Aveyron, with 30 kilometers of Millau and 40 kilometers of Rodez. This lake was formed in the valley of the Alrance, an affluent of the Tarn. It makes approximately 4 kilometers length for 500 meters broad.
History
The Barrage of Villefranche-of-Panat was built of 1948 with 1951.
