Lake of Shoes

Located at 2492 meters of altitude, the lake of Shoes (Hautes-Alpes) constitutes a goal of easily accessible excursion in family. The young children will reach it by an obvious route and without danger.

Since Brunissard, the departure is clearly shown little before deserted Breakage - where one will station his car on the splendid road of the Col of Izoard. The path borrows in its first part the layout of the G.R. 58 VI.

Lake, one benefits from a beautiful panoramic sight on the Queyras, dominated by the silhouette of the Mont Viso. Those which will leave early to appreciate the purity of an exceptional sky, will not fail to see the herds of Chamois which move under the surrounding peaks and breakages
