Lake Tahoe
The lake Tahoe is large a Lac of altitude (1 867 meters) of the the United States to horse between the California and the Nevada. This situation is due to errors of statements at the 19th century, because it was expected that the lake Tahoe is completely with the Nevada. This frontier situation allowed the casinos located at the Nevada to attract the many Californian ones come to play plays of money prohibited in California.
It is 19 km wide and 35 km length, for a surface of approximately 502 km ². With its 495 meters of depth, the lake Tahoe is the third deepest lake of North America and the eighth of the world.
The lake Tahoe, because of its situation, has a very clear and blue water.
