Lake Starnberg
The Lake Starnberg (in German Starnberger See ) is a lake of important size in Bavaria. It is a big lake in the south-west of Munich into high Bavaria (Germany). It extends 21 km from north in the south and 3-5 km of the west in the east, having a surface of 56 km ². It is thus the fifth lake of the Germany. Its altitude is 580 meters. It is known to have seen growing the Empress Elisabeth of Austria and dying his cousin Louis II of Bavaria.
