Lake Sempach

The Lake Sempach is in the Canton of Lucerne in Suisse, it bears the name of the village of Sempach. It has an average surface of 14,5 km ² for an altitude of 503,77 meters. Its volume is estimated at 0,66 km ³ and its maximum depth is of 87 meters.

The Large Aa coming from the commune of Neuenkirch more in the south, is thrown in the lake with the place known as of the Seesatz . The lake finishes in north by giving rise to the Suhre, an affluent of the Aar. The town of Sursee is close to the north-western point of the lake.
