Lake Mondély

Located in the Department of Ariège, between the solid mass of the Arize and Plantaurel chains it, the Lake Mondély was creates in 1980 for the irrigation and the support of the low water levels of the Lèze.

Protection of the site

The site was classified " natural Zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest " by the Ministry for Ecology and Sustainable development in 1989.
