Lake Michigan
The Lake Michigan is one of the five Big lakes of North America. It is bordered by the American States of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
They is only Big lakes entirely located on the territory of the United States, the others being divided with the Canada. It occupies a surface of 57 750 km ², which makes the greatest fresh water extent of it of the United States, and the fifth plus big lake in the world. Its more great depth is of 281 m, and its surface is at approximately 200 m of altitude, on the same level as the Lake Huron, with which it is connected by the Détroit of Mackinac. Geologically, the Lake Michigans and Huron form only one water level.
