Route of access

  • In estival conditions:

To follow the same route as for the lake of Caderolles.

With the tank of the Small lakes, to continue by the GR. 10 on left bank of reserve (with right hand while arriving). To pass the hut EDF and to continue on a well marked path overhanging the lake, then in a pierrier.
In approximately 15 minutes, one manages to the foot of second stopping EDF. The water which leaves the pipes close to the exit to the turbines is drinkable.

To continue on the GR. 10 which skirts the foot of the stopping and to climb by the path in laces (Right Bank, now) always marked red and white. In a few minutes one arrives to a small prominence which dominates the lake (kern). To continue and go down little by little towards the bottom from the lake where drinking water and herbaria make it possible to make a pause bienvenue.

In the event of bad weather, a rock shelter is built at the end of the lac.
the bathe is not recommended (cool water).

To preserve nature : zone bordering on Natural reserve = protected fauna and flora.

the GR. 10 continues in direction of the Lac of Campana of Cloutou and its refuge.

  • Into winter:

To double time.

In ski touring, even route. One can go a little more quickly than in summer while climbing closest to the stopping on Right Bank (is), but attention with the rimayes and the bridges of snow while crossing the granitic arena.
