Lake Eyasi

The lake Eyasi is Lac salted endoreic of the north of the Tanzania located at the south-west of the Massif of Ngorongoro and bordered in north by the Aire of conservation of Ngorongoro. It belongs to the many lakes of the Vallée of the great rift.

Situation

Of form coarsely rectangular and directed south-west-north-is, the lake belonged to the district of Karatu of the area of Arusha but its south-eastern shore constitutes part of the Eastern border of the area of Shinyanga and the northern end of the area of Singida.

The lake Eyasi is bordered in north by the plain of Serengeti and in south-east by the mountains of Kidero.

Hydrous mode

The level of the lake Eyasi is rather variable because it is depend on the irregular Précipitation S for its food. Many a Affluent S coming mainly from the solid mass of Ngorongoro in the North-East is thrown in the lake of which the Matete
